August is set to be another unforgettable month at Chinois Ibiza, as the venue continues to establish itself as one of the island’s most exciting nightlife destinations.
Following an outstanding July packed with world-class performances, the Marina Botafoch club returns with an impressive schedule featuring some of the biggest names in house and electronic music.
Recently voted among DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs in the World, Chinois has earned its reputation by offering a unique alternative to Ibiza’s larger superclubs.
An intimate atmosphere, cutting-edge music programming and immersive visual production create an authentic clubbing experience where the dancefloor always comes first.
Sundays belong to SAGA, the acclaimed residency by Bedouin. Returning with the concept Garden of Unearthly Delights, the duo blends contemporary electronic sounds with global and ancestral influences. Throughout August, they will be joined by special guests including Maz, Acid Pauli, Viken Arman and Henrik Schwarz.
On Saturdays, Claptone brings back his iconic residency The Masquerade, one of Ibiza’s longest-running and most celebrated events. Alongside the mysterious man behind the golden mask, August welcomes an outstanding line-up featuring Blessed Madonna, Deep Dish, Kerri Chandler, A-Trak and Ferreck Dawn.
Fridays introduce one of the season’s most exciting additions: Echoes of Tomorrow, the first Ibiza residency from South African duo Major League DJz. Their signature Afro House sound will be complemented throughout the month by performances from LUNNAS, Kitty Amor, Kaz James, Grossomoddo and Ape Drums.
House music lovers can look forward to Defected Forever every Thursday, as the legendary label continues its new chapter at Chinois. The August programme features Eats Everything, Hannah Wants, Eliza Rose, Kilimanjaro, Shermanology, Darius Syrossian, Low Steppa, Monki and Riva Starr, perfectly balancing established artists with the new generation of house talent.
Wednesdays see the return of Mahmut Orhan with Sounds Like Pillowtalk. Following a successful debut last year, the Turkish producer once again delivers his distinctive fusion of deep house, nu disco and multicultural influences, welcoming Julia Sandstorm, RIVO, Shimza, Rami and MFK as special guests during August.
Mondays remain dedicated to the legendary La Troya, Ibiza’s iconic LGBTQ+ celebration. Famous for its extravagant performances, colourful costumes and inclusive spirit, the party welcomes Horse Meat Disco, Gok Wan, David Morales and Wally López throughout the month.
From house and Afro House to melodic and deep electronic sounds, Chinois Ibiza is once again delivering one of the island’s strongest summer programmes. For anyone visiting Ibiza this August, the club is set to remain one of the season’s essential nightlife destinations.
