AlphaTheta has introduced the new CDJ-1500X, a professional multi player designed for bars, small clubs and compact DJ booths, while bringing flagship-level performance and an entirely new way to interact with the crowd.
The new CDJ-1500X expands AlphaTheta’s professional player lineup by delivering many of the features found on the flagship CDJ-3000X in a significantly smaller footprint. Designed for venues where space is limited, the player offers the flexibility of a modular setup while maintaining the workflow expected by professional DJs.
At the heart of the unit is a 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen, providing faster track browsing, improved waveform analysis and detailed visual indicators for vocals, BPM changes and song structure. DJs can also reorganise playlists directly from the player without returning to a computer.
Built-in Wi-Fi gives direct access to rekordbox CloudDirectPlay as well as streaming platforms including Apple Music, Beatport Streaming and TIDAL. NFC login allows performers to instantly load their personal playlists and settings simply by tapping their smartphone against the player.
One of the biggest innovations is the introduction of CoBeat, making its debut on the CDJ-1500X. The new service allows audiences to scan a QR code, browse a DJ-selected music catalogue, vote for songs, send track requests and even react with emojis in real time. All requests are displayed directly on the player’s screen, creating a new level of interaction between performers and the dancefloor.
Additional professional features include eight Hot Cue buttons, Beat Sync, Beat Jump, an instant Beat Loop control, a medium-sized jog wheel and customizable LED lighting with twelve colour options.
Available from July 2, 2026, the AlphaTheta CDJ-1500X is priced at €1,699 and aims to bring professional club-standard performance to a wider range of venues and DJ setups.
