It takes a village to raise the next generation of artists, producers, and music industry professionals. That’s the vision behind this year’s big news at the Amsterdam Dance Event: the ADE Lab Village.
Starting this October, Westerpark will transform into a creative hub, a meeting ground for learning, experimentation and networking.
The mission is bold: to provide a space where aspiring music professionals can take their first steps, sharpen their skills and build lasting connections.
One Village, Many Voices
Forget the idea of scattered event locations, ADE Lab Village brings everything together in one place, creating a complete creative ecosystem. More space to learn, more places to experiment and more opportunities to connect with peers and established professionals.
WestWeelde, with its industrial architecture, will be the beating heart of the program: high-profile plenary talks and masterclasses will fill its spacious rooms, while the Lab Living area offers a place to relax, network and absorb the atmosphere.
At the iconic Radio Radio club, attendees can take part in workshops and vinyl-listening sessions, where the turntable itself becomes teacher and guide.
Those aiming high will find inspiration at Pacific Amsterdam, a creative venue hosting intimate talks with industry leaders and hands-on sessions in the Gear Test Lab and Gear Workshop Room, where the latest equipment is ready to be explored.
Creativity also finds a more intimate dimension at Bakkerswinkel, a fully equipped recording space, and at Mossel & Gin, a small gem hidden in a Westerpark garden. Its program, for now, kept under wraps.
There are more surprises in store: Sapori di Amsterdam promises unique learning experiences, while the Gashouder Office, partially under construction, will host exclusive showcases.
